Brendan Rodgers has made three surprise decisions in the Celtic side to face Paris Saint Germain tonight.

Scott Sinclair, Stuart Armstrong and Nir Bitton drop out of the side with Jozo Simunovic, Tom Rogic and Olivier Ntcham staring the match with Callum McGregor playing left midfield.

After losing 5-0 at home to PSG in September most Celtic fans are looking on tonight’s match as a damage limitation exercise but that isn’t Rodgers’ view of the match.

Sunday’s Betfred Cup Final against Motherwell will have an impact on the thoughts of the Celtic manager although news from Anderlecht against Bayern Munich will be more of a priority.

A win for Bayern would mean that Celtic would need to lose by three goals at home to Anderlecht to miss out on a Europea League place.

In four Champions League ties Anderlecht have still to score a goal but for now all of Rodgers’ thoughts will be centred on his side in Paris.

CELTIC: Gordon; Lustig, Simunovic, Boyata, Tierney; Ntcham, Brown, Forrest, Rogic, McGregor, Dembele

SUBS: De Vries, Bitton, Roberts, Griffiths, Sinclair, Armstrong, Kouassi
