Ally McCoist has broken rank and warned Derek McInnes that managing at Ibrox wouldn’t be a dream job.
Since Pedro Caixinha was sacked four weeks ago a succession of names have been wheeled out telling the Aberdeen boss about the joys of managing Sevco.
Despite the chronic financial situation and incredible delusions of the fans the constant message has been that McInnes will advance his career by going to Ibrox.
Sevco’s recently published accounts have escaped scrutiny despite the three bears dropping out to leave Dave King and NOAL to prop up the whole operation.
McCoist has a better insight than most into the inner workings at Ibrox and clearly doesn’t see eye to eye with te South African based criminal.

“My own particular choice now would be Derek McInnes,” the last ever Rangers manager told BT Sport. “I know the Aberdeen fans won’t thank me for that.
“I just feel that Derek, at this moment in time, is held in high regard throughout British football.
“I just think from Rangers’ point of view, it would be my appointment. I’m not sure from Derek’s point of view it’s 100 per cent the right thing to do.
“The circumstances of taking the manager’s job at Rangers, it’s certainly a far better place than when I was there managing but I still don’t think it’s the perfect time to manage the club.”
After three weeks of being asked about the Sevco job McInnes left the media duties after Aberdeen’s defeat from Motherwell to his assistant, Anthony Docherty.
