Motherwell protest to SFA

Motherwell are contacting the SFA to demand an explanation over the two penalty decisions awarded against them in games against Celtic!

The answer from Referee chief John Fleming should be quite cut as he explains that Cedric Kipre tugged at Scott Sinclair’s shirt while Andy Rose charged into the back of Callum McGregor.

Both decisions have been highlighted by the media while the brutal assault on Moussa Dembele by Kipre has been ignored by the SFA Compliance Officer as well as match referee Craig Thomson.

The accusations against Sinclair and McGregor were challenged today by Brendan Rodgers who has become fed up by the treatment of his players by match officials and the media.

As well as missing last night’s match through injury Dembele won’t be available for Saturday’s match between the clubs and is also a doubt for Tuesday’s Champions League match with Anderlecht.

Kevin Clancy will referee Saturday’s match between the two clubs.
