Brendan Rodgers has made two changes to the Celtic side from the Betfred Cup Final for tonight’s rematch with Motherwell at Fir Park.

Leigh Griffiths and Patrick Roberts come in to the starting XI with Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair missing out.

Three days after the first trophy of the season was settled Rodgers has shuffled his pack with a night under the lights at Fir Park very different from a final appearance at Hampden.

At the weekend Celtic’s lead at the top of the table was trimmed down to three points by Aberdeen who travel to Ibrox tonight to take on fourth placed Sevco.

Celtic have a game in hand over Derek McInnes’ side and meet the Dons at home on December 23 followed by a visit from Sevco a week later.

As well as playing Abderlecht next week the hoops have got eight SPFL matches to get through before enjoying a 25 day break before resuming the campaign away to Partick Thistle on January 24.

CELTIC: Gordon; Lustig, Simunovic, Boyata, Tierney; Brown, Armstrong; Roberts, McGregor, Forrest; Griffiths

SUBS: De Vries, Sinclair, Rogic, Ntcham, Edouard, Sviatchenko, Ajer
