Simon Donnelly was delighted to find himself in a video clip from Tuesday’s match.

The former Celtic striker was in the North Stand taking a video when he appeared in another video clip pre-match.

Donnelly broke into the Celtic first team at the end of the 93/94 season which was the final matches of the old stadium.

After a year at Hampden the club returned home in the summer of 1995 with the North Stand catering for 26,000 supporters.

Donnelly played through the rejuvenation of the club alongside the Three Amigos before being a key part of Wim Jansen’s side that stopped the 10 playing alongside Henrik Larsson.

While the Swede watched the match from the comfort of the BT Sport studio behind the goal Donnelly preferred things out in the open cheering on the team that he once played for.

After leaving Celtic for Sheffield Wednesday Donnelly returned to Scotland where he played for St Johnstone, Dunfermline and Partick Thistle.
