Celtic fans were full of praise for Kristoffer Ajer following the 2-0 win over Partick Thistle.
Brendan Rodgers described the Norwegian as outstanding with few dissenters among the hoops support as they watched their side go five points clear at the top of the SPFL.
Stuart Armstrong and Kieran Tierney scored in each half but most attention was on the hoops defence after losing 4-0 away at Hearts.

Ajer was excellent tonight as was Scott Brown. Hayes done very well when he came on aswell. Ajer should start saturday v Aberdeen. More games will benefit him hugely.

Ajer replaced the injured Jozo Simunovic and for the third home match running turned in an impressive display on the day that Celtic completed the signing of Marvin Compper from RB Leipzig.
The big question now is whether he will keep his place for Saturday’s home match against Aberdeen which could allow Celtic to move eight points clear at the top of the table.
Last week against Hamilton Ajer played on the right of a back three, tonight he was played through the centre alongside Dedryck Boyata.
