Celtic fans sent a blunt message to President Donald Trump as they watched their side draw 2-2 with Hibs.

It’s unlikely that the President of the USA was watching the match in one of the many Celtic pubs across the states but the message made it’s mark across social media.

As if he hadn’t caused enough controversy worldwide Trump decided in midweek to announce that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel.

That has prompted an angry response by supporters of Palestine with the Celtic fans very public in their support for the people of Palestine.

In last season’s Champions League qualifier against Hapoel Beer Sheva hundreds of Celtic fans took Palestine flags to protest against Israeli occupation.

That action prompted a £15,000 fine from UEFA but the issue raised £180,000 which was handed over to charities working in Palestine.

Celtic drew today’s match 2-2 against Hibs with Scott Sinclair scoring both goals for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
