BBC Scotland are hurting at Celtic run

BBC Scotland can’t acknowledge Celtic’s record breaking 69 match run without a domestic defeat.

Today’s 4-0 defeat away to Hearts was greeted with joy by the state broadcaster who have had to report on every step of the run which included picking up four trophies.

After interviewing Brendan Rodgers at Tynecastle BBC Scotland decided to title their interview and feature with Celtic ‘created history’- Rodgers.

The use of ‘created history’ seems to imply some sort of doubt or question mark against the achievement.

Celtic created the new record earlier this season when they went past the 62 match unbeaten run enjoyed by Willie Maley’s Celtic team 100 years ago.

If the state broadcaster wish to investigate history they can explain to license payers how a club currently in liquidation can transfer it’s honours list to a new club who have only ever won one Petrofac Cup in their history or the double standards of the SFA when it comes to ineligible footballers.
