Nir Bitton has broken with tradition and suggested that Celtic fans have a ‘wee swally’ with his Christmas wish.

This is the fifth year that the Israeli internationalist has spent Christmas in Scotland and is clearly starting to pick up some local patter.

A ‘wee swally’ seemed to be a new phrase to Kundai Benyu who was with Bitton as the video clip was produced although the former Ipswich man later warned fans about getting ‘too steamin’.

There won’t be time for any swallies among the Celtic squad as they train at Lennoxtown today before travelling through to a hotel in Dundee for the night.

Brendan Rodgers’ squad are in action at lunchtime tomorrow with the incentive of stretching their lead at the top of the SPFL table to 11 points before Aberdeen are in action on Wednesday night.

The Celtic boss is likely to make a couple of changes to his starting XI with just two matches left to play before they reach the winter break.
