Celtic fans are lukewarm to the prospect of signing Lewis Morgan from St Mirren.
The 21-year-old is without doubt a talented player but with Ryan Christie and Scott Allan currently out on loan expectations are low for Saints winger.
Morgan is expected to complete a £300,000 move to join Celtic over the next couple of days and will be loaned back to St Mirren for the rest of the season.
Is Lewis Morgan actually signing for us? Season ticket holder, mascot and youth at rangers ??

Is Jack Hendry better than Ajer ? Is Lewis Morgan better than Ryan Christie ? Hope we dont end up like Chelsea just accumulating players without ever giving them a run. Need to get rid of a few we won’t ever see in January.

Can’t say I’ve seen much of Lewis Morgan play…another Ryan Christie type player or just a squad player like Hayes? ????

With such a large first team squad summer signings such as Jonny Hayes and Kundai Benyu have still to make an impact on the first team.
After 18 months in charge of the club Brendan Rodgers has a full grasp of what is currently available, what is in the pipeline and what is required to take the club in the direction he wishes to move in.
With Jack Hendry of Dundee also strongly linked with a move to Celtic it looks like Rodgers is making medium term plans that involves recruiting the best emerging talent in Scotland.
