Chris Davies doesn’t expect January to be a busy month in terms of transfer business.
RB Liepzig defender Marvin Compper appears close to completing his switch to Celtic with the emphasis on quality rather than quantity.
Brendan Rodgers is on record as looking to strengthen his defensive options but according to Davies there may not be much activity elsewhere in the squad.

Compper visited Lennoxtown last week and flew back in to Scotland today to complete his transfer from the Bundesliga.
A fee of around £900,000 has been agreed between the two clubs with the defender signing a contract up until June 2020. Before joining RB Liepzig the 32-year-old spent two seasons in Serie A with Fiorentina.
Compper will join his new team-mates for a week of training in Dubai next month but won’t be eligible for the Europa League ties with Zenit St Petersburg.
