The Daily Record has broken rank and decided to report on the claim against Sevco from Orlit Enterprises.

The Singapore based firm were batted aside in 2013 over a £400,000 claim but were back in front of a Glasgow Sheriff.

The Record reported: “A fresh writ was drawn up by Orlit this August, which resulted in a preliminary hearing in front of a Glasgow sheriff yesterday.”

Orlit were one of the original backers of Sevco when Charles Green bought a basket of assets for a knock-down £5.5m to set up the newly formed company.

The case clearly pre-dates the current Dave King led regime which took control in March 2015 after a carefully planned concert party forced their way into the boardroom.

That action is subject of a Takeover Appeal Board ruling that was taken to the Court of Session on October 12 and 13.

Despite his QC claiming that King was penniless the South African based criminal has promised the club £4m emergenecy funding according to the company accounts.
