Scott Sinclair will be fit to face Sevco on Saturday.

The former Aston Villa man missed the 2-0 win at Dundee through injury with James Forrest returning to the side and scoring the opening goal.

Jonny Hayes suffered a serious leg injury during the first half but Brendan Rodgers is confident that Sinclair will be 100% for for Saturday’s derby clash.

Scott should be okay for the weekend,” the Celtic boss told The Sun. “He took a heavy challenge at the beginning of the game against Aberdeen.

It was just too much of a risk and he is recovering at Lennoxtown.”

Sinclair’s form has been hot and cold this season but he has still managed to score 15 goals including six in the Champions League.

On the injury front Celtic are expecting to discover the extent of the injury that Jonny Hayes suffered at Dundee.

The initial fear was that he suffered a broken leg in the clash with Josh Meekings but interviewed after the match Rodgers was hopeful that the injury would be less severe.

Hayes will definitely miss Saturday’s match with Sevco which could open the door for teenager Mikey Johnston to earn a place on the bench.
