Chris Sutton has given an emphatic response to the claim that Celtic have agreed an £18m fee with Brighton for Moussa Dembele.

The BT Sport pundit has been a strong champion of the Scottish game highlighting how clubs have been short-changed when it comes to selling players down south.
Celtic have generally been applauded for getting good value for players but within 18 months of selling Virgil van Dijk for £10m the same player is being priced at £60m by Southampton to Liverpool and Manchester City.
It’s generally believed that it would take an offer of £30m to get Celtic to the negotiating table to talk terms for the French u-21 internationalist.
Dembele could have joined a number of English clubs in the summer of 2016 but elected to move to Celtic to test himself in the Champions League.
With his own career goals carefully laid out it’s unlikely that a move to an EPL relegation battle will hold any appeal for the former Fulham striker.
