Leigh Griffiths came off the bench to earn Celtic full points away to Partick Thistle.
Trailing to a first half penalty from Conor Sammon Brendan Rodgers sent on the former Hibs striker in place of Mikael Lustig as Celtic switched to a two man strike force.
Almost instantly there was a change of pace about the way Celtic played with Griffiths pressing at the home defence and linking up well with Callum McGregor and James Forrest.
Oh i would walk ten thousand miles, then i would walk ten thousand more, just to see Leigh Griffiths shoot and score,na na na na,na na na na,nananananananananaaa!

No great viewing but mission accomplished. Eduardo before Dembele and Griffiths? Griff comes on kickstarts Celtic and we get the win. Dembele sits out the game? Is he off to pastures new? If so we wish him well but surely Leigh Griffiths should get the heads up for the next game

Leigh Griffiths has matured brilliantly. Spoke well there. Obviously desperate to start but dealing with it the right way. Give him a run now Brendan.

Assistant referee flagging Leigh Griffiths offside from a throw in…. Thats why we question the standard of refereeing in Scotland.

That’s the only, “banging it in,” I’m interested in when it comes to Leigh Griffiths. ?????

Scott Sinclair equalised from the penalty spot before Griffiths forced the winner, collecting a pass from Scott Brown and sliding a low shot past Tomas Cerny.
The match took place against a background of speculation about the future of Moussa Dembele but in Griffiths Rodgers has a forward who knows exactly what his job is.
With an 11 point lead over Aberdeen Celtic now have successive home matches against Hibs and Hearts to reinforce their lead at the top of the SPFL table.
