Injury misery for Ryan Jack

Ryan Jack has been told that his season is over.

According to a report in the Daily Record the Sevco midfielder is unlikely to play again this season after picking up a knee injury last month against Motherwell.

Sevco took Jack to Florida for their winter training camp but a visit to a surgeon this week brought the devastating news.

The midfielder has been a regular under Pedro Caixinha and Graeme Murty but has made more headlines for red cards than performances.

With Andy Halliday returning from his loan spell and Sean Goss brought in on loan from QPR despite not playing a game this season Sevco are well covered in midfield for the loss of the former Aberdeen skipper.

Murty is expected to give debuts tonight to Jamie Murphy and Jason Cummings as Sevco attempt to draw level with Aberdeen in the battle for second place.
