John Barnes has been announced as the first male to take part in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother.
The former Celtic boss will go into the house on Friday with Channel 5 providing round the clock coverage from the compound.

Barnes became Celtic manager in 1999 alongside Director of Football Kenny Dalglish.
With no managerial experience it was always going to be hard work for the former England internationalist.
Forcing his style of play onto a sceptical dressing room never worked out with big money signings Eyal Berkavic and Raphael Scheidt failing to make an impact.
After the winter break Celtic came back to home defeats from Hearts and Inverness Caley Thistle which brought Barnes time to an end with Dalglish taking over till the end of the season.
Following a brief spell in charge of Tranmere Rovers Barnes has concentrated on his media career with his appearance on CBB certain to raise his profile.
