Celtic could be ready to make a move for Michel Vorm following Craig Gordon’s knee injury against Hibs.

Brendan Rodgers was guarded about the extent of the knee injury that the keeper suffered but did admit that he may have to move into the transfer market for a keeper.

Vorm, currently back up to Hugo Loris at Spurs, has been linked a couple of times with a move to Celtic but could now be re-united with Rodgers and former Swans team-mates Dorus de Vries and Scott Sinclair.

The 34-year-old has made one EPL appearance and has played in four cup ties with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Rodgers signed Vorm from Utrecht in 2011, after 89 EPL appearances he opted to go to Spurs as back up in a £5m deal.

Celtic’s third choice keeper Conor Hazard joined Falkirk on loan during the week with Ross Doohan the current second choice.
