Davies keen to bring in new signings
Chris Davies understands the frustrations of Celtic fans at the lack of transfer activity so far in the transfer window.
The arrivals of Marvin Compper and Lewis Morgan were well sign posted before the window opened but there were new faces in the side that beat Brechin City on Saturday.
Fuelled by back-to-back Champions League campaigns and the Virgil van Dijk windfall expectations were high with the hoops looking tired as they reached the end of 2017.
It looks like business will be condensed into the final few days of the month with the emphasis on quality rather than bringing in players to bulk up the squad.

Erik Sviatchenko, Liam Henderson and Kundai Benyuhave been moved on but the main fan focus is to see who comes in.
Summer signing Olivier Ntcham looks ready to nail down a regular place in the side with one or two more additions expected for the Europa League and likely Champions League qualifiers starting on July 10 and 11.
