Partick Thistle v Celtic

Mousa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths are named as substitutes at Partick Thistle tonight with Brendan Rodgers sticking with Odsonne Edouard to lead the line.

Rodgers has named the same side to the one that beat Brechin City 5-0 on Saturday with Griffiths taking the place of Calvin Miller on the bench.

Tonight’s match gives the hoops the chance to go 11 points ahead of Aberdeen before their visit to Ibrox tomorrow night.

Celtic have already beaten Thistle twice this season although it was a narrow 1-0 win at Firhill back in August with a joint effort from Olivier Ntcham and Scott Brown.

Thistle have spent the whole season in the bottom half of the table but a 2-0 win over Ross County on December 30 took them three points above the Dingwall side going into the winter break.

CELTIC: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Ajer, Tierney; Brown, Ntcham; Forrest, McGregor, Sinclair; Edouard

SUBS: De Vries, Simunovic, Bitton, Kouassi, Griffiths, Johnston, Dembele
