Carlos Pena sealed a 12 month loan to Cruz Azul- shortly after wiping his nose on a pair of Sevco shorts.
Sevco’s marquee summer signing was bundled out the door on a 12 month deal that is widely reported to involve his parent club paying half of his wages be play elsewhere.
As soon as his arrival was leaked questions were raised about Pena’s lifestyle and suitability to play in the Scottish game.
At the time those rumours were ignored with the focus placed on his Gullit nickname.

Pedro Caixinha was reluctant to play the midfielder who barely managed a full 90 minutes during his brief Ibrox career.
Yesterday Pena was reunited with his old Ibrox boss but with a contract until June 2020 Sevco will continue to pay the price for backing their former manager.
Halfway through the SPFL season Pena started just six matches and appeared as a substitute in a further six games.
