John Hartson has joined in the praise of Scott Brown.

The iron-man Celtic skipper was the toast of social media yesterday as the hoops won 2-0 at Aberdeen to close in on a seventh successive title.

Shortly after Kieran Tierney put Celtic 2-0 up the frustrations of the Dons players boiled over as Sam Cosgrove ploughed into Brown then lashed out with his boot.

What happened next will never be forgotten!

Hartson was one of the toughest players of his generation and found himself perfectly at home when he joined Celtic to team up wit Chris Sutton, Neil Lennon and Johan Mjallby.

Not many opponents tried it on with that Celtic side who knew how to look after themselves as well as play the game.

Brown emerged unscathed from the match and is now preparing to tackle the Beast From The East armed with his favoured Celtic polo shirt.
