Jordan Rossiter has suffered another injury set-back.
The former England youth team skipper played for the Sevco ‘Stars of the Future’ side against Valencia last week but missed out on yesterday’s defeat from Manchester United,.
Quite a few asking why Jordan Rossiter missed yesterday’s Man Utd development game and the response we got isn’t good.
Jordan injured his ankle in Spain last week & hasn’t been able to train since. The extent of it is unknown, will try & find out more soon— Four Lads Had a Dream (@4Ladhadadream) February 15, 2018
With serious concerns about his fitness Liverpool allowed Rossiter’s contract to run out with Mark Warburton splashing out on a four year deal in the summer of 2016.
First team appearances have been few and far between for ‘the next Steven Gerrard’ as he battles to get over a string of mystery injuries.
The 20-year-old starred in both legs of the Europa League ties against Progres Niederkorn but hasn’t been involved in the first team since August.
Graeme Murty has been careful not to push Rossiter’s return to action with the midfielder enjoying the best of medical attention at Murray Park.
With Sevco opting out of the Development League there are no formal fixtures to test Rossiter in with the club keeping quiet about the extent of the injury suffered against Valencia.
