Chris Sutton has echoed the thoughts of most Celtic fans following Scott Brown’s retirement from international football.
The midfielder has been in outstanding form this season with yesterday’s display at Pittodrie highlighting once again his value as a player and a leader.
As the game got scrappy Brown scrapped more with the Sam Cosgrove incident summing up everything about the Celtic skipper.

Social media has been dominated by that incident with Brown now on course for his seventh title success as Celtic captain.
A suspension forced him out of last week’s 0-0 draw with St Johnstone but with ten matches left to play the former Hibs man is ready to lead from the front as Celtic chase a unique back-to-back treble.
Brown will be in his usual place on Wednesday night as Celtic face Dundee in their final midweek match before the Premiership split.
