Within the space of 48 hours Alfredo Morelos has changed from being confused to fantastically professional according to Graeme Murty.

The Sevco striker has been in the spotlight with the Ibrox club apparently rejecting an £8m bid from China for their top scorer.

Evidence to back up the bid is very thin on the ground with no transfer interest in any Sevco stars despite Mark Allen trying frantically to cut costs.

Among the ‘facts’ emerging from the speculation was the news that the Columbian’s weekly wage could jump from under £7,000/week to £70,000/week in China.

Murty helped fuel the hype by claiming to be involved in negotiations but despite Sevco being unable to offer new terms to their £8m striker Murty claims that all is well with the Columbian.

Alfredo has been fantastically professional and we hope that continues,” Murty told The Sun. “There were opportunities for people to leave, but they have chosen to stay. That’s a positive for me as it tells me they are buying in to what we want to do here.”

Sevco host Hibs tomorrow hoping to cut the gap to Aberdeen in the battle for second place.
