Bayern Munich’s message to Celtic

They’ve got a couple of matches with Sevilla to look forward to but yesterday Bayern Munich sent a St Patrick’s Day message to Celtic.

Recalling their Champions League visit to Glasgow in October the German champions know a thing or two about special atmospheres.

Throughout the world Celtic shirts were on display as St Patrick’s Day was recognised and celebrated in almost every corner.

Across the United States there were parades in virtually every city with Celtic Supporters Clubs in every state.

After the celebrations fans will be tuning in to today’s action from Fir Park where Celtic will be looking to go 12 points clear of Sevco in the race for the title.

An away win would take the hoops onto 70 points, should Aberdeen win all of their remaining matches, including a trip to Celtic Park, they will reach 80 which Celtic could exceed in the first post split fixture.
