Sevco fans have snubbed a poll to ban Celtic fans from the Broomloan Road stand at Ibrox.

Gary the Bear, no relation to Rupert, has been a man on a mission driving his campaign for various obscure reasons to give Celtic fans the same ticket allocation given to Aberdeen and Ross County supporters.

Giving an update on one popular message board Gary revealed that the poll had only attracted 1,000 genuine replies.

Ibrox chief Stewart Robertson did meet up with Gary and presented him with a number of reasons for the current arrangement which brings in around £350,000 to Sevco from visiting Celtic fans.

A fourth successive Celtic win at Ibrox has sent tempers raging even further among the small element of active Sevco fans.

The sight of 7,000 fans in green and white lapping it up at the final whistle is a body blow that not even the presence of stewards guarding the goalposts can bring comfort to.

Despite the online anger and fury, heightened by Leigh Griffiths flying an Irish tricolour, it seems that fellow bears just can’t be bothered getting behind the campaign led by angry Gary.

Sunday’s defeat was the sixth time in 13 matches that Sevco have lost at Ibrox this season.
