Rab Douglas has challenged two of his former Celtic team-mates to get their kit off and do their bit for Cancer Research.

In a topical update on the ice-bucket challenge folk are stripping down to their bare essentials, or even less, and diving head first into the snow.

Wearing only a set of goalkeeping shorts and some fetching boots the former Celtic keeper did his bit for Cancer Research.

It seems that the beast from the east has brought out the spirit of adventure in folk condemned to stay at home with the country gridlocked.

Social media is full of various bizarre video clips with the severe weather expected to last through the weekend.

Most SPFL matches scheduled for Saturday have already been postponed with the SFA expected to make announcements on the Scottish Cup ties.

With three of the four matches due to be televised live there will be pressure for the games to go ahead, with a lunchtime kick off on Saturday the Celtic v Morton match looks like going ahead unless the weather takes a turn for the worst.
