Liam Henderson looks like being following in the footsteps of Paul Lambert and John Collins as he adapts to playing abroad.

While Lambert and Collins moved to Champions League clubs directly from Scottish football Henderson has quickly made his mark on Bari.

On Saturday the midfielder helped his side to a 3-0 home win over Brescia to consolidate their place in the promotion play off and start to threaten for an automatic place in Serie A.

Bari are five points behind second placed Frosinone with a game in hand and 11 matches still to be played.

The playing side can often be the easier part of a move abroad but having previously been on loan to Rosenborg Henderson has a better idea than most about how to adapt off the park.

Bari had drawn their three matches prior to beating Brescia and are next in action on Wednesday when they travel to take on second bottom Ascoli.
