Kris Ajer has declared himself fit for Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie against Morton.

The defender finished Saturday’s win over Aberdeen with a ‘Rab C’ style bandage following a clash with Jozo Simunovic.

After four minutes of treatment the defender was able to complete the match but on Monday Brendan Rodgers reported that Ajer was a doubt to face Dundee with one of his eyes closing over.

With that fixture falling foul of the Beast from the East Ajer has had extra time to recover and is ready to do his bit as Celtic defend the Scottish Cup.

Patrick Roberts are both likely to be in contention for the match although neither is likely to make the starting XI.

After missing out on the Dundee fixture Celtic have enjoyed extra time to prepare for the Scottish Cup tie although Lennoxtown was out of bounds on Thursday.

Celtic have no fresh injury worries to report for the match against Jim Duffy’s team although Jack Hendry is unavailable after playing for Dundee earlier in the competition.
