Jason Cummings is pure buzzing to face Celtic man.

The on loan Nottingham Forest striker was back in his comfort zone yesterday as he bagged a hat-trick against Falkirk on a rare start for Sevco.

With Alfredo Morelos firing blanks Cummings could start against Celtic on Sunday with the mood music between the two Ibrox strikers lukewarm at best.

The £22m striker barely joined in any of Cummings’ goal celebrations with the cheeky chappy from Edinburgh saying all the right things to please the Sevco supporters.

Obviously it’s going to be hard but if we win every game and put a bit of pressure on them that’s all we can do, starting next week,” the former Hibs striker told the Daily Record.

We’re going to go and try to beat them, that’s what we’ll set out to do and push them as far as we can.

Of course, we don’t want to see Celtic winning trebles and winning all the time. “We’re trying to put a bit more pressure on them and I feel like we are.

We can just take it week by week and win every game we can and we’ll see what happens. The boys are buzzing, these are the games you want.

We’re going to have to beat them (Celtic) to win the cup, so why not just make it the semi-final. The boys are confident just now and we can’t wait to play that.”

Cummings has only started one Premiership match since moving to Ibrox while making six appearances off the bench.

After three seasons with Hibs in the Championship he has yet to score a Premiership goal although he did attempt to claim a goal at Ross County that found the net after a deflection sparking a pitch invasion.
