Neil Lennon has been hit with a three match touchline ban for his actions during and after the 2-2 draw with Kilmarnock.

The Hibs boss was upset by the penalty awarded to Kilmarnock by Kevin Clancy and was sent to the stand on the instructions of the fourth official.

Lennon was highly critical of Clancy after the match and highlighted how he had missed a handball incident during a match between Hibs and Sevco.

The Hibs boss will now have to watch his side’s next three matches from the stand with a further two match ban suspended for a year.

Lennon will have the right to appeal against the decision which could prove difficult for the SFA if he highlights incidents involving Clancy.

This weekend Clancy will be in charge of the match between Ross County and Hamilton Accies with John Beaton the referee for the match betweem Hibs and St Johnstone.
