On Friday night Alfredo Morelos was an Ibrox legend- this afternoon his career ended in front of 43,000 disbelieving eyes.
A bizarre PR campaign during January and February had put the spotlight on the chunky Columbian striker who was signed from HJK Helsinki last summer.
Sevco fans bought into the notion that Morelos was indeed a £10m plus striker but the cold reality of his limitations were exposed today.
Worse than Van Vossen?

Shortly before Odsonne Edouard’s decisive goal Morelos latched onto a slip by Dedryck Boyata but panicked in front of goal and shot at Celtic debutante Scott Bain.
Worse was to follow follow in the 88th minute, much worse in a moment that Morelos will never recover from. Never.
As Bain touched away a low shot the ball fell perfectly to the £22m striker inside the six yard box. Incredibly he managed to hit the post with his shot with the rebound fell into the hands of Bain.
The look on the face of Morelos was priceless. His value is now priceless with that miss haunting him any time he pulls on the blue shirt of dignity.
