Sevco anger was out in force yesterday but it wasn’t really football related.
Three win-less matches in the SPFL Premiership has been met with a shrug of the shoulders, Dave King’s failure to comply with the Court of Session and Takeover Appeal Board doesn’t really matter and the next manager can wait for another day.
‘Unleash Frenzy’ certainly did it’s job as the launch of green football boots had fans rushing to their phones and tablets to register their disgust.
While he was a complete disaster as manager Pedro Caixinha is held in high esteem by many Sevco supporters after banning green boots and getting We Are The People painted at various points across the inside of the former five star stadium.
PUMA representatives are as welcome in the Loudon Bar as Mike Ashley with the sportswear giant the target of Dave King’s lawyers and fan fury since the concert party decided to destabilise the company.
Last summer Sevco paid £3m to get out of the deal with Sports Direct that Charles Green set up but so far there has been no signs of a new retail deal or kit manufacturer to replace PUMA.
Among the multitude of problems facing the troubled company the issue of green boots is rather peripheral.
What apparent rangers supporter/employee sanctioned this tweet? Did they even read their job description do they even know the traditions of this great club????

Puma know what they’re doing here. Everyone is posting and retweeting because they’re green. They knew that would happen.

Who thought this was a good idea @RFC_Rab?
Not to over-react, but surely the photo in a photo tweet is one of the first things to think about it? Agreements or not, is there no other photo @pumafootball could provide for boots they want Rangers fans to buy? ??????????????— AJ (@A_J_Burnett) April 2, 2018

Can’t wait until we get a kit deal with a company who actually pays attention and doesn’t just copy and paste our media team things to post. They’ll make a fortune.
