Twenty-four hours after crushing Sevco Celtic’s first team players were fooling around to the sound of Zombie Nation while lapping up the sun in Tenerife.
Scott Brown led most of the first team squad off to the holiday island late on Sunday night after the 5-0 win over Sevco.
Zombie Nation has been adopted by Celtic fans celebrating the liquidation of Rangers in 2012 for failing to pay their bills including money owed to HMRC.
With the title delivered Brendan Rodgers allowed his players a few days off ahead of Sunday’s trip to Tynecastle to face the Hearts side that ended Celtic’s 69 match unbeaten domestic run in December.
Celtic will face three games in eight days before they travel to Hampden to take on Motherwell in the final of the Scottish Cup looking to clinch a historic double treble.
The hoops have won the treble three times before Rodgers arrived, twice under Jock Stein and once with Martin O’Neill.
