Hibs have joined Sevco on the 65 point mark in the battle for second place.

A 5-3 win at home to Kilmarnock this afternoon continued the impressive form for Neil Lennon’s side in their first season back in the top flight.

With Aberdeen beating Hearts 2-0 at home on Friday night to go three points clear in second place the pressure has been intensified for Graeme Murty ahead of tomorrow’s visit to Celtic.

Second and third place in the Premiership will entitle clubs to be entered into the Europa League qualifiers while the fourth placed side will be hoping that Motherwell don’t win the Scottish Cup to take the final European place.

Next Saturday Aberdeen host Hibs while Sevco take on Kilmarnock, on the final weekend Hibs host Sevco at Easter Road.

On Friday Murty was talking about how finishing second would be considered a success but it now looks like his side will have to win three of their final four matches to secure second place.
