Lustig’s injury worry

Mikael Lustig is hoping to overcome a broken toe to be in the Celtic side to face Sevco on Sunday.

The defender missed Saturday’s 2-1 defeat away to Hibs where Jack Hendry stepped in to play at right-back.

Lustig has been first choice right-back all season and is hoping to be declared fit for what could be a title clincher.

I have a broken toe, but back to the weekend I hope,” Swedish website Fotbollskanalen reported.

Other than long term injury victims Jonny Hayes and Nir Bitton Celtic appear to have a full squad to pick from for the final derby match of the season.

Brendan Rodgers will be spoiled for choice with competition for places in every position with the exception of left-back where Kieran Tierney is out on his own.

A win will guarantee Celtic’s seventh successive title with Lustig, Scott Brown and James Forrest the only players to be involved in all of those successes.
