Union Bears protest

The hard-line Sevco fans group Union Bears made their feelings known with a banner protest before today’s match against Hearts.

Ibrox was just over half full at kick off time as the game kicked off between two clubs badly lacking in confidence.

The Union Bears had promised 90 minutes of silence with the rest of the stadium just as quiet as the match opened in second gear.

Graeme Murty made four changes to his Hampden flops but there was little different about his side’s half hearted approach to the ‘action’.

Sevco need to avoid defeat to technically keep their title hopes alive going into next Sunday’s visit to Celtic Park.

With Aberdeen and Hibs both winning yesterday the pressure has been cranked up with Murty feeling that finishing second is something to aspire to.

At half-time there was no score in the match with both teams booed off at the interval.
