Loan bhoys Lewis Morgan and Nadir Ciftci are celebrating tonight with St Mirren clinching promotion to the Premiership and Motherwell reaching the Scottish Cup Final.
A 0-0 draw was enough for Saints to clinch the Championship title with three matches still to play while Motherwell demolished Aberdeen 3-0 at Hampden to book a return to the National Stadium next month.
With 13 goals in 30 appearances from the left-wing Morgan is one of the main reasons that top flight football will be returning to Paisley with Brendan Rodgers completing a £300,000 deal in January.
Ciftci has had a more colourful season, joining Motherwell in January after a loan spell with Plymouth was cut short.
The striker was a 79th minute substitute for Motherwell in their emphatic win over Aberdeen but will have to wait until tea time tomorrow to see if he will be part of their final squad with a Celtic win over Sevco meaning that he will watch the final from the stand.
