There wasn’t a single dissenting voice as Celtic fans reacted to the news that Kristoffer Ajer had signed a new four year contract to remain with the hoops.
The defender was the final signing made by Ronny Deila and could arguably be described as his top deal- unfortunately for Deila he never got to manage his fellow Norwegian.
Almost instantly Brendan Rodgers switched Ajer from playing in midfield into central defence with a loan move to Kilmarnock in January 2017 providing great experience.
Here for the 10????????

Ajer featured occasionally in the Celtic side in the first months of this season but has nailed down a regular place following the 4-0 defeat from Hearts in December.
Borussia Dortmund were one of the clubs strongly linked with a move for the defender but that can now be canned after Ajer signed on to remain at Celtic until 2022.
Last week Scott Bain signed a four year contract to stay on at Celtic after arriving on loan from Dundee in January.
