Celtic fans have been handed an additional chunk of tickets for the Scottish Cup Final against Motherwell.

The Lanarkshire side have failed to sell out their allocation meaning that Celtic will have supporters in the West Stand as well as the three other stands.

Motherwell were given an allocation of 12,000 tickets with 3,000 more tickets held back if they sold out that allowance.

Celtic will go into the match backed by over 40,000 fans as they attempt to complete the double treble for the first time in Scottish football history.

In November Celtic beat Motherwell 2-0 to lift the Betfred Cup but were held to a 0-0 draw with Stephen Robinson’s side when the two clubs last met, at Fir Park in March.

Celtic will be presented with the SPFL Premiership trophy on Sunday after the match against Aberdeen- the fifth successive domestic trophy won by Brendan Rodgers since replacing Ronny Deila.
