In it’s previous guise as Kerrydale Street the European Cup was welcomed to Glasgow’s east end.
Today it was the turn of the Celtic Way to create memories as thousands of fans turned out to celebrate the Double Treble winners.
An open top bus left Dalmarnock Station and was mobbed by fans as it slowly made it’s ways along the Clyde Walkway.

By the time the bus turned right into London Road there were thousands of fans thronged around as supporters from Hampden caught up with those that had watched the action at home or in the pub.
First half goals from Callum McGregor and Olivier Ntcham settled the action on the park as Brendan Rodgers got his hands on his sixth successive trophy since taking control two years ago.
Motherwell’s rough house tactics were no match for the champions as history was completed with the first ever successful defence of the domestic treble.
Prior to Rodgers Celtic won the treble in 1967, 1969 and 2001.
