Stan Collymore had a short and sweet answer to Steven Gerrard’s appointment as Sevco manager.
Amusing is probably the best way that most Celtic fans would describe the decision to challenge Brendan Rodgers with a youth team coach even less experienced than Graeme Murty.
Winning football matches and trophies wasn’t the thrust behind appointing Gerrard, in down-town Govan selling season tickets to the gullible is the only thing that matters and it looks like they are buying into Ge55ard in their droves.
What’s your thoughts on Gerrard the new the Rangers manager?

Incredibly the new saviour won’t be at Ibrox today to watch his new club take on Kilmarnock.
He won’t be at Murray Park next week assessing players before matches against Aberdeen and Hibs that will decide just how disastrous this season has been.
None of that matters as season tickets are sold while the rest of Scottish football looks forward to the annual autumn panto as reality kicks in of another title lost and thousands of angry gullibles vowing ‘never again’.
I enjoy his general football insight. . But sometimes the stuff he comes away with regarding rangers is embarrassing.

Embarrassing is singing about Famine.
Embarrassing is having no Catholics rule for years.
Embarrassing is not paying tax.
Embarrassing is calling someone a wife beater as an insult while revering a wife beater.
Embarrassing is being up to your knees in Fenian blood. https://t.co/iJ8BxQWcOt
