Celtic fans are absolutely split over whether the club should sign John McGinn.
Overnight reports suggested that Celtic had ‘stepped up’ their interest in the Hibs midfielder who has a year left on his contract.
McGinn was one of the best midfielders in the Premiership last season but with Celtic’s aspirations being towards the Champions League many supporters are unconvinced of his quality.

Scott Brown and Olivier Ntcham currently occupy the two midfield positions with Callum McGregor, Stuart Armstrong, Eboue Kouassi and Nir Bitton providing further options to Brendan Rodgers.
Any combinations of Armstrong, Kouassi and Bitton could be on the move during the summer but McGinn or any other midfield signing faces a tough task to get a run of games- just ask Charly Musonda.
Bringing in the best Scottish talent is an important part of Celtic’s development with Rodgers picking up on McGinn’s ability while Hibs were winning promotion from the Championship.
The 23-year-old is currently on Scotland international duty in Peru and is expected to leave Hibs before the end of the transfer window.
