Dave King has left his Managing Director high and dry over the Murdoch MacLennan conspiracy.

Last night the SPFL issued a statement rejecting King’s call to suspend the SPFL chairman, highlighting how his appointment had been approved by the SPFL board.

Robertson is a member of the SPFL board alongside fellow Ibrox fan Les Gray of Hamilton, Ann Budge of Hearts makes up the trio of Premiership representatives.

The SPFL stated:

“The members of the SPFL board were each informed of Murdoch’s appointment on January 19th 2018, the same day it was publicly announced in a press release from Independent News & Media PLC.

“No director raised this issue subsequently and it was not the subject of any board discussions.

Nice guy Robbo has little say on anything at Ibrox as club policy is hatched between King and PR supremo Jim Traynor. Robbo’s last media appearance was to appoint Graeme Murty as caretaker manager until the end of the season.

Yesterday’s offensive suggests strongly that there is bad news coming to Ibrox as well as the obvious lack of cash for the Gerrard Revolution.

This week the SFA will decide whether to approve Sevco’s application for a UEFA licence while the Takeover Appeal Panel prepare further action against King for non-compliance of city regulations.

King also promised selected reporters a £6m share issue in June, no documentation has yet appeared to support that issue.
