Sevco have been rocked today with the resignation of two directors including True Blue Paul Murray.
The Borders businessman, known affectionately as pot-less, fronted Dave King’s campaign for power in 2015 and has the staunchest of credentials.
Murray also served as a director as Dave Murray masterminded the EBT scheme which drove the company into the hands of Craig Whyte.

Paul has been a director since March 2015 and played an important role at that time in helping oust the previous Board and restore the Club to the hands of those who have its best interests at heart.
Paul has served with distinction as a director since that time and all at Rangers are very grateful for his efforts. We look forward to welcoming him again as a supporter.
Barry joined the Board more recently and his enthusiasm and drive were welcome. The Board knows it will continue to enjoy his support and appreciates the commitment he has shown to the Club.
The departure of two directors will be another red flag to Steven Gerrard as he seeks written assurances to back up the verbal promises of Dave King. For references he could speak to Mark Warburton, Pedro Caixinha or Graeme Murty about the strength of a King promise.
Murray’s departure could well be linked to King’s refusal to make an offer to shareholders that lost out in his 2015 concert party takeover.
If the could shoulder is applied financial institutions won’t be allowed to trade with Sevco which could have consequences for Murray who is a Certified Accountant by trade.
Scott was brought in by King with the Hong Kong businessman repaying the £6m emergency loan provided by Mike Ashley in January 2014.
