Sky Sports News has produced another epic mix up by using a picture of Nir Bitton against the story of Erik Sviatchenko’s departure from Celtic.

The digital broadcaster has become notorious in recent times for getting captions and club badges mixed up, often failing to differentiate between Dundee and Dundee United.

There is less excuse for mixing up the two Celtic players who are both physically very different as well as having vastly different surnames and backgrounds.

Sviatchenko joined Celtic from FC Midtjylland in January 2016 and returned to the Danish side on a £1m deal last night after joining them on loan in January.

After an impressive opening year at Celtic things turned sour in January 2017 when Dedryck Boyata returned to favour.

An injury suffered away to Rosenborg in August proved to be his final act as a Celtic player with Jack Hendry and Kris Ajer overtaking Sviatchenko in the queue for a first team place.
