Paul McStay has joined the festivities of Celtic fans in Sydney this weekend.

Celtic supporters clubs from across Australia have got together to celebrate the double treble with George McCluskey flying in to join adopted Aussie Willie Wallace.

Without any announcement McStay popped into Cheers Bar in Sydney on Friday night for the official opening of the event.

Wallace, McCluskey and McStay have got decades of Celtic memories to call upon as the fans down under recall some of the greatest days over the last 50 years.

With Tom Rogic now starring for Celtic the hoops are given far greater media coverage across Australia.

The midfielder’s decision to sign a five year contract confirms Celtic’s status as one of the biggest clubs in Europe- showing that there is life outside of the EPL bubble.

Next Saturday Rogic kicks off his World Cup campaign with a match against France followed by matches against Denmark and Peru.
