Falkirk’s fascination with Celtic youth team keepers has continued with the signing of Leo Fasan.

Last season Robbie Thomson and Conor Hazard shared goalkeeping duties at the Championship side as they finished in eighth place after switching manager from Peter Houston to Paul Hartley.

Fasan spent seven years at Celtic without making a top team appearance before moving to Port Vale in January 2017.

During that time he developed from being an u-17 keeper through to being a regular in the Development League spiced up with being involved with the first team in pre-season and for European matches.

Last summer he switched to Bury then returned to Scotland in January when he joined Kilmarnock on loan where he made three appearances for Steve Clarke’s side.

At the age of 24 he’ll be looking to get his career properly underway after getting coached from highly rated Hoops specialist Stevie Woods.
