One Birmingham City fan found himself under attack on twitter as he casually dismissed Scottish football following Australia’s 1-1 draw with Denmark.
Although not quite at his very best Tom Rogic had a massive influence on the game as he linked the Socceroos midfielders with the assault on the Danish goal.
Kasper Schmeichel was a bag of nerves as the Danes held on for a point with Rogic more influential than the revered Christian Eriksen who opened the scoring for Denmark.
Why is Rogic at Celtic the bloke is far too good for the Scottish league.

1) we gave him his big break in Europe getting him out of the A league
2) been here 5 years so it’s a home away from home

Rogic was replaced by former Celt Jackson Irvine in the 81st minute with the entire Australian support saluting the hoops hero.
With France beating Peru 1-0 later on in Group C the Socceroos need to win their final match against Peru and hope that France win against the Danes.
Rogic has been a key player in Celtic’s Double Treble success and signed a five year contract extension before heading off to the World Cup Finals.
